Are you a Finance Manager looking to make a real impact within a well known Third Sector organisation? Our client are seeking a proactive Finance Manager to oversee their finance operations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team and directly support the company's strategic growth, with the potential to become a permanent posting based on performance and delivery.

Reporting to the director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for taking a hands-on leadership approach and fostering a collaborative work environment, perfect for someone looking to make a tangible difference.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of a finance team, ensuring daily deliverables are met, along with having the responsibility for all financial reporting, cashflow forecasting and cash management of the business.

About you- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Experience in Third Sector would be beneficial (but not essential)
- Experience leading and supporting small teams
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to get involved in day-to-day tasks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior management
- Available at short notice
- Take ultimate responsibility for all financial reporting and compliance
- Oversee and support a team of 2 junior staff members
- Manage month-end, year-end, and forecasting processes
- Assist the director with strategic financial planning and analysis
- Ensure effective internal controls and process improvements
