Technical Incoming Inspector - Belfast - Onsite
A role where precision, quality, and technical expertise truly matter.
Applicants must have completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment or a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment.
Candidates must be familiar with quality control requirements.
Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Supply Chain Operations organisation for a Technical Incoming Inspector based in Belfast. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming components meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
The Technical Incoming Inspector will be responsible for:
Performing comprehensive inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities.
Ensuring all products comply with design specifications, customer requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
Providing clear technical guidance and instruction to operators when required.
Monitoring and supporting the Delegated Operator Scheme.
Working collaboratively and flexibly within group environments.
Producing detailed technical reports to identify drawing, process, or tooling anomalies and support corrective action.
Skill Set
Essential
Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with a minimum of 2 years' post‑apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing/assembly, or tooling environment.
Strong understanding of quality control requirements.
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Effective communication skills and a solid knowledge of company manufacturing and assembly practices, standards, and requirements.
Desirable
ONC, A‑Levels, or equivalent technical qualifications.
Knowledge or experience in 3D metrology.
