Maintenance Technician

Summary Of Role

The Maintenance Technician will take responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of production across the site.

Job : DFP/MT/02/26

• Ensure all machines within the factory are checked and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations;
• Completion of all aspects of paperwork which includes daily tasks and service records;
• Completion of work‑on‑work pal maintenance package;
• Engage in the ethos of continuous improvement;
• Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.

• A minimum of one years experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace;
• Working knowledge and understating of Permit to Work;
• Be self‑motivated and highly organised;
• Excellent communication skills.

• Working in an environment with hot and cold‑water systems, high pressure Steam systems and compressor Air systems;
• The ability to interpret technical drawings;
• Hold a valid forklift licence/a valid MEWP licence;
• Prior experience of working in the food industry.
