Manufacturing Manager
Leading UK Manufacturer: Electrical products, welding, fabrication, assembly, metal work, metal products
Salary: Up to £95,000 DOE
Location: North County Down/South County Antrim

Responsibility: Headcount of 100 people – including, operations, production, assembly, maintenance etc.

Ready to take full ownership of a fast‑paced manufacturing operation and drive real, measurable impact? We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing/Production Manager to lead a multi‑functional team, elevate performance, and shape the future of our site.
In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind operational excellence — delivering daily/weekly/monthly targets, strengthening quality standards, and championing a culture built on safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
What you’ll be doing- Leading manufacturing, warehouse and engineering teams to maximise output and efficiency
- Driving KPI performance across OEE, OTIF, cycle time, stock management and more
- Overseeing production planning, scheduling and ERP utilisation (Epicor experience a bonus)
- Embedding strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Managing resources, developing people, and building a high‑performing, cross‑skilled workforce
- Leading root‑cause analysis, improvement projects and operational problem‑solving
- Collaborating with Procurement, Commercial and Logistics to strengthen supply chain performance
- Experience managing teams across engineering disciplines such as production, operations, maintenance, logistics etc
- Proven leadership in manufacturing, production or operations management
- Strong track record of delivering improvements and driving performance though Continuous Improvements e.g. 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma
- Experience of driving KPI performance across OEE, OTIF, cycle etc
- A background in Welding, Fabrication, Metal or Electrical products
- Experience with ERP systems and data‑driven decision making
Salary: Up to £95,000 DOE

Progression: Clear route to a more senior level responsibility i.e. General Manager/Director of Operations/Production
