Manufacturing Technician (with progression to Engineer) - West Belfast £28,000 - £31,000 + per annum | Permanent | Early Friday Finish Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Technician looking for a permanent role within a well-established and growing engineering business? Ashton Recruitment are currently working with a respected manufacturing company based in West Belfast (Dunmurry area) who are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician who can progress to Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting production and continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision instrumentation for a range of industrial applications. You will be involved in:
Supporting production to achieve scheduled output Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues relating to product and equipment Supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes Assisting in maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and quality This is an excellent opportunity for a Technician who enjoys being hands-on and wants to make a real impact within a growing business.

What's on offer:

Essential Criteria Minimum of HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years' experience as a mechanical technician Ability to read and produce technical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience of being involved as an internal quality auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided Understanding of temperature and pressure equipment would be advantageous Desirable Criteria Experience acting as an internal auditor for ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 (training provided if required) Understanding of temperature and pressure-related equipment Experience working within a regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environment If you're a motivated Manufacturing Technician / Engineer looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable employer, we'd love to hear from you.
