** About the role
** This role is site based at Diageo’s east Belfast packaging facility is a 12-acre site running a 24/7 operation and is supplied with beer from St James Gate brought to the site in bulk tankers, which each hold up to 30,000 litres of beer. The site packages over 20 brands, including Guinness Draught, Extra Stout and Foreign Extra Stout, Harp, Hop House 13, Smithwick’s and Rockshore.

As an Operator at Marshalls Road,you’llbe responsible forthe quality control of the line, operating packaging machine processes whilst following standard operating procedures for machine operation and set up time reduction as well as preparing the line for shift handovers.

Health and safety compliance iskey,andyou’llbe at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets including quality, hygiene,wasteand efficiency.

You’llbe able todemonstratethe following:
* Can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations whereyoucan solve problems.
* Holds strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to communicate with all levels across the site.
* Has ambition, is readyto support Team Leaders andeager to grow into a leadership rolein the future.
* A continuous improvement approach, with the confidence to suggest new ideasand drive positive change in our manufacturing processes. This will be backed by a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Experience working in a production environment would be beneficial but not a must-have for this role.

Training will be provided.

* * This role requires you to work a 42hr week continental day / night shift pattern. x2 12-hour days, x2 12-hour nights with 4 days off. Repeat.
