• Dismantle and process fixtures, and materials in accordance with approved recycling and safety procedures.
• Operate material‑handling equipment for movement, loading, and storage of components and kits.
• Organise and maintain recycling kits, ensuring accurate identification, labelling, and storage.
• Assist with data recording and traceability of materials through the recycling process.
• Support continuous improvement in recycling efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon‑saving initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment in line with Somervilles H&S and sustainability policies.
• Collaborate with workshop and logistics teams to optimise flow of dismantled components and recovered materials.

• Comfortable working with hand tools and completing manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused.
• Able to work well within a team and follow instructions.
• Practical experience in warehouse, joinery, or recycling environments (preferable).
• Awareness of environmental and sustainability principles (training provided).
