Manufacturing Engineer

Belfast | £38,000 - £42,000 | Permanent | Monday - Friday (Day Shift)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering company at their state-of-the-art facility in Belfast. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation within a fast-paced production environment.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficiency.
• Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and new methods to support production.
• Drive process improvements, introducing technical innovation and best practices.
• Support new product introduction, ensuring smooth transitions into manufacturing.
• Manage change control processes, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to production, supply chain, quality, and CI teams.
• Contribute to operator training on new processes and technologies.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure delivery of high standards.

• HNC/D or higher in Mechanical Engineering (Degree desirable).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Strong background in at least one of the following: anodising, bonding, painting, assembly, or automated spray processes.
• Confident in problem-solving tools (e.g. 3
  
  Cs, 8
  
  Ds) and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• CAD and ERP system experience desirable.
• Aerospace or regulated industry background would be an advantage.

• Salary £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience).
• Monday to Friday day shift role - no weekends.
• 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days (accrued in hours).
