Ensure the continuous flow of materials so that required parts and resources are available in a timely manner. Drive lean manufacturing practices, including 5S, and waste elimination initiatives.

Lead and support continuous improvement projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and optimising resource utilisation. Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to quickly resolve production issues. Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and active employee involvement. Organise and participate in daily and weekly production meetings. Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure full compliance with all health and safety legislation and company standards.

Ensure production lines operate in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and agreed processes. Ensure compliance with all site rules, regulations, and company policies. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required from time to time. Experience &

Qualifications:

Candidates should be qualified to minimum of GCSE level or equivalent. Significant production experience gained in a similar manufacturing environment. Experience and proven track record of supervisory and /or people management is essential. An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques would be advantageous. Awareness of visual management. Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines and able to adapt to changing priorities and goals.
