• 05:55 - 13:00 Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected engineering and manufacturing business based in the Didcot area. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, our client is looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their skilled production team. The Role As a Production Technician (Welder/Fabricator), you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of welding, fabrication and production activities to support the manufacture of high-quality engineered products. You will work to strict quality and safety standards while contributing to the ongoing success and continuous improvement of the production operation.

Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out TIG welding to a high standard
• Supporting MIG welding activities where required
• Working from engineering drawings, technical specifications and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Maintaining and working towards company welding qualifications and coded welding standards
• Fabricating, assembling and finishing precision engineered components
• Completing grinding, forming and material preparation activities
• Supporting additional manufacturing processes as required
• Operating overhead cranes and production equipment (training available where required)
• Working closely with production, engineering and support teams
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards
• Contributing towards continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities across the business What We're Looking For Essential
• Previous TIG welding experience
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Experience with a range of fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Flexible approach and willingness to learn new processes and products
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable
• Previous MIG welding experience
• Experience working to coded welding standards
• Experience working on pressure vessels or similar specialist fabrications
• Overhead crane experience
