Press Brake Operator Reference: PBO/0426 An opportunity has arisen for a Press Brake Operator based in Craigavon. We offer a dynamic workplace with a positive atmosphere.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1.30pm Main Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions and bending schedules Measure and check components to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances Adjust machine settings where necessary to achieve the correct bends and finishes Carry out routine quality checks and complete relevant production records Identify faults or issues with machinery, materials or finished components and report these to the supervisor Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards and within agreed timescales Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times Work in an appropriate manner under instruction of direct supervisor Work as part of a team Ensure all production procedures are followed Assist with other manufacturing duties as required
Essential Criteria :
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions Ability to work under instruction from supervisor Motivated to complete tasks on time and to a high standard Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience operating a press brake machine within an engineering/manufacturing environment Experience using measuring equipment to inspect finished parts Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
