Working closely with Design, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. The Role Reporting into the Manufacturing Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through process improvement, new product introduction and the implementation of best engineering practices.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and improve manufacturing processes to maximise safety, quality and productivity Support the introduction of new products into production, ensuring smooth and efficient launches Design and implement manufacturing layouts, tooling, fixtures and work instructions Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and eliminate waste through continuous improvement Investigate production issues and implement robust engineering solutions Work closely with Design Engineering to ensure products are optimised for manufacture and assembly Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives including process optimisation and standardisation Analyse production data to identify trends and drive performance improvements Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance Ensure engineering documentation remains accurate and up to date Support capital investment projects and equipment implementation where required About You We're looking for engineers who have:
