About the Role Hunt 4 Employment is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for an experienced Production Team Leader to work within the Assembly Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of assembly operatives, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a manufacturing background who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and support a team of assembly operatives. Monitor daily production schedules and ensure output targets are achieved. Maintain quality standards and ensure products meet customer specifications. Conduct team briefings and provide ongoing training and coaching. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures across the department. Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity levels.

Work closely with Production Managers and other departments to ensure smooth workflow. Assist in resolving production issues and escalating concerns when necessary. Complete relevant production reports and documentation. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Senior Production Operative role.

Experience with in manufacturing, assembly, industries. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment. Competent IT skills and experience using production systems. Desirable Qualifications Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience. IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification. Experience working within kitchen, cabinet, or furniture manufacturing.
