CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer I am currently working on behalf of a leading Aerospace engineering company who due to continued growth are recruiting for a CNC Programmer to join their team. They are continuing to invest in their infrastructure and people and are making great strides in innovation and are growing at a good rate. Responsibilities Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling Machines Cutting tool selection and work holding tool design Validating programming quality through part FAI Creation of machine set up sheets & operator work instructions.

Improving and working to lean manufacturing process. Ensuring the safety of both employees and machinery Training / mentoring less experienced programmers within the department. Liaise with tooling and software manufacturers to drive Continuous Improvement. Investigate and apply techniques to reduce cycle times and explore new technology to improve workshop throughput.
