The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Joiner to join a busy specialist joinery team, producing high-quality bespoke joinery for a range of fit-out projects.
This is a hands-on workshop role working closely with design and production teams to ensure all products are manufactured accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials
- Assemble, fit and finish bespoke joinery products
- Operate a range of woodworking tools and modern machinery
- Work closely with other joiners to meet production deadlines
- Carry out quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
- Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance on tools and equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years joinery experience, ideally within a workshop environment
- Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Joinery / Carpentry
- Strong background producing high-quality bespoke joinery
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Good understanding of joinery techniques, materials and finishes
- Confident using a wide range of joinery tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
- Flexible and adaptable across different project requirements
