Powder Coater

Powder Coater - permanent job opportunity for an experienced powder coater in this busy sheet metal facility, the role involves masking, spraying, and curing preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications. Keep the work area and equipment clean and organised. Meet high standards and deadlines. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking. Mix and apply powder coating materials to achieve the desired finish. Use spray guns or other equipment to apply powder coating evenly. Monitor oven temperatures and bake products to cure the finish.

Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a manufacturing environment. Skilled in equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality powder coating finishes.

Experience with wet paint spraying. Strong understanding of technical specifications. Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Enthusiastic about producing high-quality work. This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience.
