We are currently looking for a
** Mill Machinist
** to join the highly successful team at our
** Beaufort Rd, Swansea
** branch.

Experience isn’t essential for this role as full training will be given.

This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30 – 17:00, and every other Saturday from 07:30-11:30.
** What you’ll be doing:
*** Operate and monitor timber-processing machinery safely and efficiently.
* Cut, plane, mould and machine timber to customer specifications.
* Set up machinery and make adjustments to achieve accurate dimensions and profiles.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
* Identify and report machinery faults, defects or maintenance requirements.
* Carry out routine cleaning, maintenance and safety checks of machinery.
* Safely handle, stack and move timber and finished products.
* Follow all Health & Safety, environmental and site procedures.
* Complete production records, paperwork and relevant documentation accurately.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
* Support the wider mill team with day-to-day operations as required.
