Production Operator; Packing Department

Position: Production Operator(Packing Department)
Duncrue Food Processors Ltd (DFP) has been in operation for over thirty years. DFP has grown to be one of the UK's leading beef dripping producers. Our primary operation is the manufacture of high quality beef dripping which is sold to the fast food, catering and food manufacturing industries. We now wish to recruit for the following position:
Production Operator (Packing Department) Job : DFP/POP/8/26 Summary of Role:
The role involves processing production and ensuring that Hygiene, Quality and Health and Safety standards are maintained. A key element of this role is to work as part of a team to ensure that production KPI's are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Machinery and equipment safety checks as necessary;
Maintain appropriate records for department;
To fulfil daily production requirements as instructed by the Line Leader/ Production Management Team;
Responsible to keeping downtime and waste to a minimum.

The Person : A minimum of one years experience in a food manufacturing environment;

Experience of using electric pallet truck;
Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills;
Good level of written and spoken English;
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets. Hours of work for the role are Monday to Friday Week 1 - 6.00am
-2.30pm and Week 2 Monday to Thursday - 2.30pm
