Loader Operator

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Evans Transport Ltd in the UK. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials, contributing significantly to our operations within the construction sector. There will be the ability to learn new tasks and assist with general plant maintence. pay will be subject to experience.

• Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials on to trucks.
• Ensure accurate handling of materials according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with staff to manage inventory effectively.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in plant repairs if required.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.

• Proven experience as a Loader Operator or similar role.
• Valid wheel loader ticket certification. (not essential but beneficial)
• Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely.
• Experience in the construction sector is preferred.
