Production Assembly Technician

Production Assembly Technician £14.00 - £20.50 per hour We are currently recruiting for a Production Assembly Technician to join an innovative and growing manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated, precision-engineering environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering, electronics, or quality inspection who are looking to develop their career within a technically advanced production setting.

Key Responsibilities Assemble precision-engineered components in accordance with detailed work instructions. Carry out testing and inspection activities to ensure products meet required specifications. Conduct incoming quality checks on components and materials. Follow alignment and optimisation procedures during the build process. Complete production and test documentation accurately. Perform basic troubleshooting and fault finding within defined procedures. Maintain strict adherence to quality, production, and safety standards.

Work towards production targets while maintaining exceptional quality levels. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience within a manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or technical production environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate components. Strong manual dexterity and precision handling skills. Experience following technical instructions, drawings, or SOPs. Good written, verbal, and IT skills.

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, ONC/OND, or similar technical qualification advantageous.
