Production Team Leader

Your new role As Production Team Leader, you will lead a team of skilled technicians within a high-tech production environment, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you will support the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing function, drive continuous improvement activities, and ensure employees are developed to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of production technicians. Support the training and development of technical staff. Ensure daily production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support problem-solving and root cause analysis activities. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and operational procedures. Track and report on production performance and KPIs.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Promote a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture. What You'll Need to Succeed HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-tech production environment, OR ONC/OND qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-tech production environment. Experience supporting, coaching and training technical staff.

Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
