We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Laminating Supervisor to join our manufacturing team on the night shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced composites professional who can lead a team, maintain high production standards, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Role

As Laminating Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the night-shift laminating operation, supporting your team and ensuring production targets, quality requirements and health & safety standards are consistently achieved.

• Supervise and support the laminating team throughout the night shift.
• Allocate work and manage daily production priorities.
• Ensure laminating work is completed to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production output, quality and efficiency.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure any issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Provide guidance, training and support to team members.
• Ensure correct use of materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and other departments to resolve issues.
• Promote a positive culture of teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all company procedures, health & safety requirements and housekeeping standards are followed.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

• Eligibility to work in the UK, no sponsorship will be provided
• Previous experience in composites manufacturing and laminating.
• Experience in a supervisory, team-leader or senior laminator role.
• Strong knowledge of composite laminating processes and materials.
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• The ability to organise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A strong commitment to health & safety.
• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work permanent nights.
