Junior Social Media Manager

THE EMPLOYER IS: LEARNING ME LTDThe role involves supporting the enhancement of the company’s online presence and audience engagement while developing the participant’s digital marketing and communication skills. The post holder will work as an effective member of the team, contributing to the creation and delivery of creative campaigns and wider marketing initiatives. The role also includes analysing digital performance data and preparing clear, accurate reports to help inform future activity.

• Develop compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels inclusive of blog posts.
• Videos and graphics for social media, email campaigns, and website content.
• Manage and update social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, Linked In) to maintain a consistent online presence.
• Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs/questions, and monitor what our competitors are doing.
• With help, combine your findings and insights into a report with recommendations and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with other teams, including sales, design, and product development, to ensure everyone is on the same page with marketing goals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Receive and implement regular feedback and training to improve workflow and outcomes.

• Familiarity with various social media platforms specifically: X/Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin and Facebook.
• Proficiency in basic mobile editing software for video and graphic content creation e.g., Canva, Capcut etc.
• An ability to plan, create and edit visual stories such as: infographics, flyers, posts, stories, reels, for a specific audience.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and to work independently as well as collaborate within a small team.
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) knowledge for optimising content via hashtags and keywords for social media and/or websites/search engines.
• Familiarity with social media management tools e.g., Meta Business Suite and Buffer.
• An ability to write in the brand voice depending on the target audience.
• Ability to follow trends and analyse performance via likes, comments, shares and engagement.
• Writing and drafting skills for blog posts, articles, educational content and social media updates.
• Experience of content creation and/or basic digital marketing.
• Some familiarity of social media analytics and reporting.
• Experience in basic website design and/or editing.
