We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Social Media Content Executive to join our dynamic business development, marketing, and communications team at A&O Shearman Belfast. What

you will do

This social media content executive role is responsible for the organic and paid content to the firm’s social media channels, monitoring and analysing activity, content management, and planning support.

Content
  • Turning business content into dynamic and engaging social media posts.
  • Leading on the social media calendar for all global firm channels and supporting other regions, including proactively suggesting ideas to create a regular and varied stream of content.
  • Working with the content and campaigns team to support on major campaigns with organic and paid content.
  • Liaising with the creative team to oversee design of social media assets and templates and advocating for the development of different media types.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider marketing and communications team to advise on and support the delivery of campaigns to support key client and business (including Responsible Business) campaigns.
  • Providing advice to the business to ensure content is optimised and identifying opportunities to repurpose content and increase engagement.
  • Being a brand ambassador by providing quality control for all content posted on social media and supporting education around the new tone of voice across the firm.
Channels
  • Posting on the firm’s main social media channels, including the global firm channel, regional (when required) channels, Haiilo, and requested senior leaders’ channels.
  • Overseeing impromptu reporting requests from the business, and regular paid and organic social reporting.
  • Monitoring, auditing, and analysing the success of our social media content.
  • Assisting the social media team with the day‑to‑day management of Haiilo, our employee advocacy platform.
  • Managing our social media community, including actioning likes, shares, and comments on behalf of the firm.
  • Supporting ongoing and ad‑hoc issue monitoring requests, when required.
Paid campaigns
  • Leading on the planning and creative development of paid social campaigns, particularly sponsored, ongoing content campaigns and follower migration and growth campaigns.
  • Supporting the account management of our paid media agency.
Measurement and evaluation
  • Using analytics to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement.
  • Monitoring and developing reports on competitor activity, content, and key conversations within social media spaces.
  • Supporting the build‑out of benchmarks and robust reporting frameworks.
What you will have
  • Qualification in marketing communications, media relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in social media content.
  • Excellent ability to write in English, translating complex material into easy‑to‑read promotional copy.
  • Strong analytical skills and a very high attention to detail.
  • Minimum of three years’ social media experience in an agency or fast‑paced business environment.
  • Proven experience managing organic and paid social media as part of an integrated marketing approach.
  • Experience of working in a centralised social media team that provides support at a global level.
  • Experience using social media management and analytical tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr).
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure, with the capability to juggle tasks to meet deadlines.
