Communications Officer

Your new company A leading specialist contractor is seeking to appoint a Communications & Bid Content Executive to join its Belfast-based team. Your new role Reporting to the Bid Director or Bid Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both internal and external communications across the duties will include:
Creating engaging internal communications to improve awareness of projects, achievements and business activity across multiple regions. Managing and maintaining an employee communications platform. Supporting social media activity and external communications where project information can be publicly shared. Developing and maintaining project case studies, gathering technical information, photographs and project details from operational teams. Writing compelling project narratives and content for use in bids, tenders and capability submissions.

Building a library of reusable project information and completed works to support future business opportunities. Working with technical and operational teams to capture project scope, complexity, challenges and successful outcomes. Ensuring all communications comply with client confidentiality requirements and identifying which projects can be used for promotional purposes. Supporting the development of a strong and consistent company portfolio that showcases expertise and experience.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should have:
Previous experience in communications, marketing, bid support, content writing or a related discipline. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content. Experience preparing bid, tender or proposal content would be highly advantageous. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to gather information from a variety of teams. Experience managing social media channels, internal communications or digital content platforms.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive approach and willingness to build relationships across the business.
