The LTA's vision is ‘Tennis Opened Up’, and our mission is to transform communities through tennis, focusing on three areas – making tennis welcoming, enjoyable and inspiring to everyone.

As we continue to grow participation in Tennis and support the rapid development of Padel, we're looking for an outstanding communications leader to join us as our next Head of Strategic Communications
.

This is a pivotal role within our Corporate Affairs team, responsible for building trust, engagement, and advocacy for the LTA amongst key stakeholders, participants, volunteers, coaches, venues, funders, and the wider public.

• Leading strategic communications campaigns that support the LTA's vision
• Developing and delivering engagement plans across the tennis community
• Driving communications activity supporting inclusion, participation and facility investment initiatives
• Managing and developing communications professionals within the team
• Partnering with senior leaders, including Board and Executive members, on speeches, briefings and key messaging
• Building strong internal and external relationships to influence and drive positive outcomes
• Measuring the impact of campaigns and ensuring communications excellence across the LTA

• Proven success leading strategic communications programmes
• Experience managing and inspiring high-performing teams
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Strong communications planning expertise in complex, fast-paced environments
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and news judgement
• Experience working with media and reputation management activities
• The ability to translate organisational priorities into compelling communications strategies
