Bid Manager, Marketing ​/ Advertising ​/ PR

Bids & Marketing Manager | Belfast | Up to 50,000 Vickerstock are working in partnership with an established multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Bids & Marketing Manager to join their Belfast team.

This is a broad role combining responsibility for the coordination and delivery of high-quality bids with the wider marketing and business development activity of the consultancy.

Working closely with Directors and technical teams across the business, you will take ownership of the bid process from initial opportunity through to submission, while helping strengthen how the business presents itself to existing and prospective clients across the construction and engineering sectors.

Your new role as Bids & Marketing Manager You will coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, tenders and pre-qualification documentation while supporting the wider marketing strategy of the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing bids and tenders from initial opportunity through to final submission

Coordinating input from Directors, Engineers, Project Managers and other technical specialists

Producing clear, compelling and professionally presented tender responses

Reviewing tender requirements and developing appropriate submission strategies

Managing bid programmes, deadlines and internal review processes

Maintaining and developing bid libraries, project case studies and supporting information

Working with technical teams to communicate complex engineering and construction information effectively

Supporting presentations, capability documents and client proposals

Coordinating company marketing activity across digital and traditional channels

Developing content highlighting projects, technical expertise and company achievements

Supporting business development initiatives and client engagement activity

Helping improve bid, marketing and communication processes across the business

What you will need to succeed

Previous experience within bids, proposals, marketing or business development

Experience with in construction, engineering, architecture, professional services or a similar technical environment would be particularly advantageous

Strong written communication and copywriting skills

Ability to take technical information and turn it into clear, persuasive submissions

Experience coordinating contributions from multiple stakeholders

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several deadlines simultaneously

High attention to detail and strong presentation skills

Confidence working directly with Directors and senior professionalsA proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of the bid process
