Content Marketing Specialist

VANRATH are recruiting for a Content Marketing Executive to join a high-profile organisation with a strong presence across Belfast and Northern Ireland. This is a varied, content-led marketing role suited to someone who enjoys creating engaging content, developing digital campaigns and telling stories that connect with different audiences. You'll work closely with businesses, organisations, community groups and external stakeholders to develop content that showcases people, projects and initiatives making a positive impact across the region.

This is a hands-on role covering content marketing, social media, photography, video, digital campaigns, events and stakeholder engagement, with plenty of opportunity to develop creative ideas and take ownership of your work.

The Role The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering engaging content marketing activity across a range of digital channels. You'll be responsible for identifying content opportunities, developing creative ideas and producing high-quality content that raises awareness, drives engagement and supports wider marketing objectives. One week you could be visiting a local business to develop a case study around its growth and success.

The next, you could be producing social media content, capturing an event, interviewing an organisation or developing a digital campaign around an upcoming initiative. It's a varied role combining creative content production with digital marketing, campaign delivery and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities Content Marketing & Creation Create engaging written, visual and video content across social media, websites and digital campaigns. Develop content that promotes businesses, organisations, projects and initiatives across the region. Identify interesting stories and turn them into engaging marketing content. Produce case studies, interviews, articles, features and social media content. Capture photography and video content to support marketing activity.

Develop creative ideas for campaigns, content series and new digital formats. Maintain content calendars and ensure a consistent flow of relevant, engaging content. Digital Marketing & Social Media Manage and develop content across key social media platforms. Plan and deliver content marketing activity aligned with wider marketing objectives. Adapt messaging and content formats for different audiences and channels. Monitor engagement, audience growth and content performance.

Use analytics and audience insights to identify opportunities to improve content. Keep up to date with digital marketing trends, social media developments and emerging content formats. Campaigns & Communications Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns. Develop content to support awareness campaigns, events and wider communications activity. Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise the reach and impact of marketing campaigns.

Ensure content is consistent with the organisation's brand, messaging and tone of voice. Evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve future activity. Stakeholder & Business Engagement Build strong relationships with businesses, organisations and community groups. Meet with external contacts to identify new stories, content opportunities and marketing initiatives. Conduct interviews and gather information to develop compelling content. Attend events, launches and community initiatives to capture content and support promotional activity.
