Location: Scouts NI Headquarters, 109 Old Milltown Road, Belfast, BT8 7SP
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: Full Time - 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: Head of Strategy & Support
We’re looking for a Scouting Support Officer (Engagement) to help remove barriers to participation and strengthen the quality and impact of Scouting across Northern Ireland.
About the roleYou will:
- Develop tools to enhance programme quality and youth experience
- Support the delivery of programme events and badge days
- Embed youth voice and youth‑shaped Scouting
- Support outdoor and adventurous experiences
- Track participation and engagement metrics
- Work with volunteers to remove barriers to access
- Build partnerships to expand programme opportunities
- 22 days annual leave plus statutory days
- Time off in lieu for out-of-hours work
- Free parking at Ardnavally Activity Centre
- Woodland office setting in South Belfast
