Summary We're looking for a passionate and inspiring Community, Participation and Volunteering Coordinator to join our newly formed Urban Community, Participation and Volunteering team. In this exciting role, you'll develop and deliver inclusive and participative approaches across our portfolio putting people and communities at the heart of everything we do. As Community, Participation and Volunteering Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in building stronger connections with local communities and diversify volunteering and other ways to get involved, helping people discover, enjoy, and care for nature and heritage.

What it's like to work here You'll be part of the wider NI Urban CPV team, working across the portfolio and reporting to the Senior Community, Participation and Volunteering Manager. Most of your time will be spent on our properties, engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds and helping to deepen our reach into urban communities. You'll connect with people both on our sites and out in local neighbourhoods, bringing nature and heritage to the heart of community life.

You will contribute across the NI Urban Portfolio, including Divis & the Black Mountain, Minnowburn, Lisnabreeny and Patterson's Spade Mill, and support the development of the wider Community and Participation Plan for the portfolio. Your primary focus will be Derrymore, where you will lead the work on site, take responsibility for delivering the plan, and spend the larger proportion of your time, particularly in the initial phase.

The role will require travel between these places and a willingness to work some evenings and weekends as community needs and opportunities arise. What you'll be doing You will take a 'population and people first' approach by putting the voice and needs of communities at the heart of our priorities and plans so that together we can restore more nature, increase access to nature and heritage, and inspire millions of people to take action.
