This is a role for someone who likes to combine the bigger picture with the detail. You will help shape the future direction of the CRM while remaining hands-on with data quality, segmentation, reporting, processes, integrations and day-to-day system management. What will you be responsible for? Working across fundraising, marketing and finance, you will become the go-to person for Raisers Edge / NXT and take the lead on improving how the organisation manages and uses its supporter data.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the ongoing administration, maintenance and security of Raisers Edge / NXT. Identifying opportunities to improve the CRM and developing a structured roadmap for future enhancements. Improving data quality through auditing, cleansing, standardisation and de-duplication. Creating effective processes around data entry, campaigns, appeals and reporting. Producing selections and audience segmentation to support fundraising and email activity. Developing reporting and analysis that provides meaningful insight into fundraising performance.
Identifying opportunities for greater automation and more efficient financial processes. Managing CRM integrations and relationships with Blackbaud, external consultants and other suppliers. Supporting users through training, documentation and ongoing guidance. Maintaining strong standards around GDPR, PECR and HMRC Gift Aid requirements, including the management of invalid Gift Aid records. What are we looking for? You will bring significant experience working with Blackbaud Raisers Edge / NXT or a comparable nonprofit CRM, alongside a strong understanding of how good data management can support fundraising performance.
You will also have:
Strong CRM optimisation, development and automation experience. Excellent data management, segmentation and reporting skills. Experience working with fundraising, charity or supporter-focused teams. The ability to turn data into useful, actionable insight. Knowledge of GDPR, Gift Aid and relevant nonprofit data requirements. Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels and across multiple teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance ongoing system management with improvement projects.
Above all, you will be someone who enjoys taking ownership of a CRM, finding ways to make it work better and helping teams get more value from their data. The package Competitive salary, dependent on experience. 37.5 hours per week, typically 09:0017:30. 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. Appointment will be subject to a basic DBS check.
