Deputy Nurse Manager

Deputy Nurse Manager Full-Time Opportunities | Northern Ireland Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience) We are currently building our network of experienced Deputy Nurse Managers for a range of existing and upcoming opportunities across Northern Ireland. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred care, provide leadership to the clinical team, and help maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

You will play a key role in supporting staff, promoting best practice, and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. Typical Responsibilities Support the Home Manager with the daily operational and clinical management of the home Lead, motivate, and mentor nursing and care teams to deliver exceptional resident care Ensure care is delivered in line with NMC standards and RQIA regulations Promote a culture of person-centred care, dignity, and respect Oversee care planning, clinical assessments, and medication management Monitor clinical standards through audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives Support staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and performance management Assist with rota management and staffing to ensure safe levels of care Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, ensuring the smooth operation of the service Candidate Requirements Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) Active NMC registration with a valid PIN Previous experience working within a nursing home or elderly care setting Experience in a Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Charge Nurse, or Deputy Manager position is highly desirable Sound clinical knowledge with excellent leadership and decision-making skills Good understanding of RQIA standards and clinical governance Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills Passionate about delivering outstanding, resident-focused care Why Register Your Interest?
