39 hours per week Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? We are currently looking for a confident and compassionate Deputy Nurse Manager to join a well-established care service in Holywood. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior nurse who enjoys combining clinical care with leadership, team development and operational responsibilities. About the Role Working alongside the Nurse Manager, you will play an important part in the day-to-day leadership of the nursing team and the delivery of consistently high standards of care.

The position offers a combination of clinical and supernumerary management hours, giving you the opportunity to remain involved in resident care while developing your leadership and management experience. Your Responsibilities Support the Nurse Manager with the effective leadership and management of the nursing team. Provide day-to-day clinical guidance, supervision and support to nursing staff. Help maintain excellent standards of resident care and ensure relevant policies and procedures are followed.

Complete clinical audits and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Assist with care planning and promote a person-centred approach across all aspects of care. Support staff scheduling, rota coordination and workforce planning. Identify training and development needs and contribute to staff education and induction. Maintain effective communication with residents, relatives, colleagues and external healthcare professionals. Promote a safe, respectful and positive environment for both residents and staff.

Take responsibility for the service in the Nurse Manager's absence when required. What We're Looking For To be considered for this position, you will need:
Current Registered Nurse status with an active NMC PIN. At least 2 years' experience working in a senior nursing position. Previous experience within a care home, nursing home or comparable healthcare setting is desirable. Strong leadership and people-management abilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to manage competing clinical and administrative priorities. A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality, person-centred care.
