Job Title:
NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Technician
Location:

Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 per year (depending on experience)

NDT Manager / Quality Assurance Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated NDT Technician to join our quality and inspection team in Belfast. The successful candidate will perform a range of non-destructive tests on components and structures to ensure they meet required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials and components using approved methods (e.g., ultrasonic, visual, magnetic particle, dye penetrant).
* Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
* Inspect parts and interpret test results accurately.
* Prepare and issue detailed inspection reports and documentation.
* Follow written procedures and quality standards.
* Work on varied projects, potentially at multiple client sites across the UK.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* PCN Level 2 Certification in NDT (Ultrasonic preferred) or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 2 years’ NDT experience in an industrial or inspection role.
* Strong understanding of welding defects and interpretation of test data.
* Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Desirable
* Experience with additional NDT methods (e.g., eddy current, radiographic testing).
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
