We are looking for experienced NDT Quality Control Welding Inspectors to work at our fully digital manufacturing plant in Deeside. The successful applicant(s) will join an experienced team of quality engineers and QC inspectors, working closely with technical and production departments in the manufacture of nuclear fabrications.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £27.07
, and with overtime opportunities paid at an enhanced rate, your earnings can increase significantly. For example, by working two additional hours per shift from Monday to Thursday (8 overtime hours per week), you could increase your weekly earnings by approximately 30%. Additional weekend overtime opportunities can further enhance earning potential, allowing you to enjoy a strong income while remaining local and close to home, without the need to travel or relocate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and report quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations and internal QA/QC procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.

What You Will Bring:

  • CSWIP 3.1 certification with experience as a welding inspector.
  • Certification in PCN Level 2 MPI and PCN Level 2 DPI.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, previous experience as a time-served welder/fabricator or pipefitter.
