Quality Advisor

FJA are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Advisor on behalf our client in the Greater Manchester area. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and embedding good practice throughout the business and ensuring that our projects deliver "right first time". The Quality Advisor will support the business to help ensure that the company HSQE Management Systems meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.

Advise projects on relevant quality standards and client requirements to ensure they are captured in project quality documentation and that projects operate in compliance. Ensure project handover between Design and Construction and PM to Teams are adhered to, to eliminate delay for customers. Help improve customer satisfaction statistics on the Residential workstream especially by implementing processes and procedures where necessary and ensure we are receiving useful data off our customers which will ultimately help us improve (ISO 9001) Assist the site teams on quality matters and help them discharge their duties.

Support the site teams in producing and working to quality documentation. Deal with enquiries professionally and within the stipulated timescales. Ensure nonconformances, observations and opportunities for improvement are identified and processed in accordance with processes. Carry out root cause analysis and support in identifying and implementing appropriate corrective action. Collate and report on Quality KPIs to the Quality & Compliance Manager Integrate with project teams to deliver projects to a high standard, right first time.

Ensure Policies, procedures and work instructions are documented, controlled and communities across the business Be an advocate for Quality and support projects in continuous improvement to deliver high standards for clients. Carry out periodic reviews and systems audits to ensure we are meeting company standards, client specifications and the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 Review and understand client specifications and cascade requirements throughout the project team and the supply chain.

Ensure compliance with relevant accreditation schemes such as MURS. Support the development of project quality documentation including: quality plans, inspection and test plans and review supply chain documentation. Support the development and maintenance of the business management system. Support with identifying and implementing improvements as part of the continuous improvement programme. Assist with producing responses to tender submissions. Assist with external audits and lead internal and supply chain audits Skills and Knowledge required for the Quality Advisor role :
Qualified to a minimum of Level 4/HNC level in Quality/quality-related subject CSCS Card Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Teams Experience in a civil engineering environment Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Knowledge of National Highway Sector schemes (NHSS) would be advantageous Knowledge of lean tools and quality principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective learner and agile thinker Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels within the business Able to work under…
