University of Cambridge seeks a postdoctoral researcher to perform experimental quantum error correction on IonQ trapped-ion systems at West Cambridge. The role covers end-to-end work from code choice and compilation to decoding hardware data and reporting results.
The successful candidate will hold or be close to a PhD in CS, Physics, Applied Maths, or related fields, with a focus on quantum information and experimental methods. Fixed-term appointment for 12 months.
