BT Group is seeking a Research Specialist in optics/quantum to turn research into practical outcomes. You will build proofs of concept, develop demonstrations and assist field trials across lab, exchange and network environments.
The role requires hands-on lab work with optical fibres and equipment, with a PhD in optics or quantum being advantageous. Hybrid work is in Ipswich or Bristol, three days in the office per week.
