As we deliver our ambitious
2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for an Industrial Placement Student to join our team at Cowick Hall,East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2026, to work on research and development projects in our Skin Care Applications group.

You will be responsible for the screening of our products into a range of different areas of skin care as wellas data generation and incorporating the products into formulations. The project work carried out during the placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a university industrial placement degree course.

Who We’re Looking For:

• You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally.
• You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload.
• Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role.
• You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a 2.1 in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree.
• Previous work experience within the chemical industry is desirable but not essential

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and perform experiments related to personal care formulations.
• Collect and review results independently and with a team.
• Write technical reports for internal use.
• Support new product launches and existing product ranges.
