Deli Worker

The Employer is: BODEGA BAGELS – Bodega Bagels is Belfast’s only New York styled bagel shop. We are hiring 2 deli‑worker roles at our Royal Avenue location and our Halt Weavers Cross food market. The role involves till work, taking orders and payments, making bagels and other food prep, and maintaining a clean front‑of‑house environment.

• Carrying out till activities such as taking orders and payments.
• Calling out orders to customers once completed.
• Creating filled bagel sandwiches.
• Prepping food and fresh produce in a hygienic manner.
• Cleaning equipment and maintaining a clean front‑of‑house area.

• Good communication skills to be able to work with the general public.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. This is a busy environment with busy peak times so it is essential our team can communicate with each other, take direction from supervisors and identify areas that need assistance in real time.
• Experience of working in hospitality, in particular working with food would be ideal but not essential.
