Job Description
Location: Titanic Hotel Belfast, 8 Queen’s Road, Belfast
We are currently looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our team. Titanic Hotel Belfast is a 119‑bedroom luxury hotel located in the historic Harland & Wolff headquarters in the Titanic Quarter. Since opening in September 2017, the hotel has become a landmark destination for business and leisure guests.
Job Purpose: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen section you are responsible for, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and producing food to the required standard in accordance with all published specifications and standards.
Responsibilities- Be responsible for the mise‑en‑place for your designated section.
- Manage the kitchen service of breakfast.
- Assist the Executive Chef, Senior and Junior Sous Chefs with ordering requirements.
- Train Commis Chefs in their job requirements.
- Discuss with executive chefs matters relating to the preparation and service of foods.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the brigade and other colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice.
- Follow HACCP procedures and record keeping.
- Report equipment faults and defects to executive chefs.
- Attend all relevant training as and when required.
- Show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
- Familiarise yourself with our Core Values TITANIC and demonstrate the expected behaviours.
- Adhere to company regulations, including fire, health and safety, first aid, food hygiene, and wear appropriate attire and maintain personal hygiene.
- Take on special duties or work outside the normal routine at the request of senior chefs and deputy general manager.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Hospitality experience (desired).
- Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work breakfast hours, including early mornings.

Contract and SalaryContract Type: Full‑time
Salary: £14.80 per hour
