Location: Belfast

Salary: £14 per hour

Hours: 37-40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook Manager to lead our catering operation within the Home. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality, home‑cooked meals using fresh ingredients, while ensuring all dietary, nutritional and cultural requirements of our residents are met. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who takes pride in great food, excellent standards, and a warm, supportive kitchen environment.

• Lead and support the kitchen team.
• Prepare fresh, high‑quality meals and cater for dietary needs.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, HACCP and health & safety standards.
• Manage stock, budgets, menus and ordering.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow Beaumont policies and attend mandatory training.

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef/Cook.
• Chef qualification & Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of nutrition for the elderly, health & safety, HACCP, RIDDOR and food storage.
• Strong communication, leadership and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage special diets, including altered textures.

• Reliable, calm and able to work independently.
• Caring, innovative and committed to quality.
• Able to mentor and support staff.
• Responds well to feedback.
