Domestic / Kitchen Assistant Glenmachan Nursing Home We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Glenmachan Nursing Home. Glenmachan Nursing Home is dedicated to providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents. This role is essential in ensuring high standards of hygiene and supporting the smooth running of our kitchen and domestic services.

• Domestic Duties:
  Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard
• Ensuring infection control procedures are followed at all times
• Replenishing supplies and maintaining cleaning equipment
• Supporting with laundry duties where required
• Kitchen Duties:
  Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving meals and drinks to residents
• Ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy
• Washing dishes and maintaining food hygiene standards
• Following all health and safety and food safety guidelines

• Previous experience in a care home, domestic or kitchen role is desirable but not essential
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
