With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, The Nineteen Hundred Restaurant and Café Bar, and exclusive private dining in The Ledger Library, The Bedford Hotel Belfast is setting new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:Asa Kitchen Porter ,you’llmaintainthe highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following established procedures each day set by the Head Chef.
- You’llhave a positive mentality and can-do attitude supporting the rest of the Kitchen Team with any tasks as required.
- To work the sections, ensuring that pot-wash standards are dealt with efficiently, always ensuring utmost cleanliness.
- Display efficient working practices and ensure all the kitchen, utensils, cookware, and crockeryareproperly cleanedin a timely manner.
- Support the Head Chef with stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
- Toassistin ensuringa high levelof Health & Safety,cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed.
- Be aware of COSHH regulations and use of PPE.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
- Previous experience preferred.
- To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it.
- To be able to work independently, being self-motivated to complete the tasks.
- Flexibility - to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends.
