Smyths Toys is one of the world's largest specialty retailers of children's toys, operating online and in physical stores across Europe and the UK.
About the RoleWe are looking for Sales Assistants for our Smyths Toys superstores. This is a temporary contract with a rate of £12.90 per hour for employees over 21 and £11 per hour for those under 21.
Responsibilities- Provide a high level of customer service
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Work as part of a fast‑paced and dynamic team
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Pack shelves and merchandise
- Handle deliveries and complete price changes
- Operate the tills
- Learn about and keep up to date with our products to help customers
- Retail experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable but not essential:
Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, Backdoor/Warehouse. - Flexibility to work 7 days a week.
