Hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days
As Operations Team Leader, you’ll support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the store - leading the Operations Team to deliver excellence in stock management, replenishment, compliance, and store presentation. You’ll be a visible and supportive leader, helping to create a safe, efficient, and positive working environment while ensuring our customers receive the best possible service.
Key responsibilities include:- Supervising and motivating the Operations Team to deliver consistently high standards
- Supporting stock processes including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, audit, and company procedures
- Leading by example in safe working practices and reporting any issues or near misses
- Supporting store presentation, merchandising, and promotional activity
- Helping to reduce stock loss and improve operational efficiency
- Overseeing key daily tasks such as banking, reporting, gap scans, and credit claims
- Deputising for the Operations Manager and contributing to store leadership
- Supporting the store to achieve KPIs and commercial success
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role, ideally within a retail or operational environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using business systems
- Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
- A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach
- AMTRA, BASIS, or knowledge of FIAS/UFAS/NOPS (desirable)
- Forklift licence or willingness to train
