To support the smooth and efficient operation of the business by safely handling vehicle movements, maintaining site standards, and representing Ancaster with professionalism, care, and diligence at all times.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Safely collect and deliver customer and company vehicles to a high standard
- Collect vehicles or items from other dealerships as required
- Maintain the organisation and presentation of the forecourt and car park to ensure safe and efficient vehicle storage
- Grit and clear forecourt areas during icy conditions and display appropriate safety signage
- Ensure all displayed vehicles meet Ancaster/Nissan standards (e.g. pricing, cleanliness, presentation)
- Assist Sales Consultants with vehicle preparation for customer handover (e.g. fuelling, final checks)
- Deliver parts and complete external errands (e.g. Post Office, bank, DVLA) as required
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across all areas of the site
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, reporting any issues promptly
- Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
- Wear appropriate protective clothing and maintain a professional, neat appearance in line with company standards
- Safeguard all company assets within your control
- Attend training sessions as required
- Collection and delivery of customer vehicles,
- Moving vehicles between compounds and workshop
- Support the wider team and carry out additional duties as reasonably requested by management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
- Ensure safe handling and care of all customer vehicles and property
- Successfully complete a 6-month probationary period
