Excellent opening for a retail professional to step into a Store Manager (Food service) position with a well established food service business operating multiple sites across Northern Ireland. A genuinely strong employer that invests heavily in its people. Belfast based.

Salary

The Opportunity
The Belfast marketplace team is expanding, and we want driven, committed people to help maintain the momentum behind our EIQA (Excellence Ireland Quality Association) accreditation. This position is Belfast based only.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver against the company's leadership values and take personal accountability for hitting and beating targets
• Take charge of the fresh, frozen and food service department and make sure operational standards are consistently met, including the handling of products such as meat and dairy where required
• Work alongside the re-order team to keep stock levels accurate, taking ownership of individual orders as needed
• Develop strong customer relationships, get to know what they need and build loyalty to the brand
• Roll out promotional activity in line with company guidelines
• Bring energy, commercial awareness and real enthusiasm for the brand
• Guide, motivate and manage your team towards departmental objectives
• Make sure all Standard Operating Procedures are followed in full

Hours
38 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility required.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years in fresh food, retail sales or a supervisory capacity
• Track record of leading or managing a team
• Solid knowledge of the grocery retail and/or food service market
• Confident leader who can direct and motivate others
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal and influencing skills
• Customer focused
• Capable problem solver
• Able to juggle competing priorities effectively
