Sales Assistant – Product Expert

We're looking for a Product Expert to join our team, combining the creativity of a Visual Merchandiser with the customer focus of a Customer Adviser.

In this role, you'll:

We're part of the Cotswold Outdoor Group, alongside Runners Need and Snow+Rock. As a Visual Merchandiser & Customer Adviser, you'll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across our Belfast stores while helping customers discover the products that make their adventures possible.

This is a varied hybrid role, combining 16 hours of Visual Merchandising and 14 hours of Customer Adviser responsibilities each week.

You'll:

• Deliver and maintain high visual merchandising standards across our two Belfast stores
• Create inspiring, commercially focused displays that engage customers and drive sales
• Support seasonal launches, promotions and new product merchandising activity
• Ensure store layouts are easy to shop, visually appealing and aligned with brand standards
• Work closely with both store teams to identify opportunities to improve presentation and customer experience
• Maintain consistency in visual standards across both locations
• Deliver outstanding customer service and help customers find the right products for their needs
• Share your passion for the outdoors through knowledgeable product recommendations
• Support sales performance through confident selling and excellent product knowledge
• Help maintain strong shop floor standards, replenishment and product availability
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment

• Have a passion for visual merchandising, retail and the outdoors
• Have a creative eye, strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Enjoy engaging with customers and delivering excellent service
• Can work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations
• Communicate confidently and build positive relationships with colleagues
• Are organised, adaptable and proactive in your approach
• Have previous retail or visual merchandising experience (desirable but not essential)
