Overview
Description We seek an experienced B2B salesperson to join our team based at our depot in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast. You will be the lead salesperson reporting to the Business Development Manager and working closely with our customer service/sales support and management team to drive new sales and reach new markets.
Responsibilities- Identify, profile and follow up on new business opportunities in target markets.
- Build business relationships to develop long term business and expand sales.
- Introduce prospects to company services through meetings, presentations and business events.
- Contribute to writing marketing materials, social media/website content, proposals and contract documentation to secure new business.
- Ensure that high standards of customer care are maintained.
- Plan and manage market research activities and assist launch of new products.
- Develop personal sales targets, construct sales forecasts and monitor and report on sales achievement.
- Any other duties associated with this role, within reason and capability, as determined by the Business Development Manager & CEO.
Essential
- Business to business sales experience / proven track record of meeting sales targets
- Evidence of independently achieving results while working on own initiative
- Developing sales in new business markets
- Experience in lead generation and market research
- Experience with creating/developing sales materials and presentations
- Proven experience building business relationships / securing contact with the buyer
- Proven experience building sales via social media, direct calls and email marketing.
Desirable
- Knowledge of the NI and ROI geographical market
- Knowledge / Experience of the print/postal/mail fulfilment or similar sector
Skills And Competencies
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills. High level of written and spoken English
- Proactive, able to work independently to achieve results
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft products including Outlook. Competent in word processing, spreadsheet (Excel), presentation software, e-mail, CRM systems and the internet
- Able to work flexibly to ensure business needs are met
- Able to gain knowledge of products quickly and to present them to buyer confidently
- High resilience and determination, able to resolve challenges with positivity
- Salary range: £28,000 to £35,000 dependent upon experience + commission
